My goal is to build a practice that reflects my joy, not one driven by the bottom line. So, I am slooooowing way down and focusing on depth instead of breadth. I want to be able to offer unique coaching that suits each client, which means meeting you where you are. Right now. And one week from now. And four months from now. What that looks like is you decide when and how often you dedicate yourself to our work together. My only requirement is that we have at least one session together per month. If you want to talk weekly, awesome. If you need an emergency session, schedule at any time. If you are in the Austin area and want a face-to-face, shout. If you'd like to pay a different rate (anywhere between $50-$125), let me know. If things are tight, but you need additional support, reach out. Let's negotiate. I don't want money to come between us.
This is all about you.
My recent soul searching has helped me realize that: 1. Three things my own health and spirit guides have in common are empathy, flexibility, and presence and 2. Everything I do and say must be a reflection of my purpose and values. These are:
Being of service
Partnering with joy
Keeping it fairly weird
Unleash your imagination!
Complimentary Chemistry Session
Psychotherapist Carl Jung is quoted as saying, “the meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.” I take this to heart in my practice, so I offer complimentary 20-minute sessions designed to see if we would be a good coaching match. Let’s talk!
Coaching commitment details are mostly up to you. You will be charged $125 when you book/schedule a session. Minimum of one session a month is required to stay an active client. Let’s design a rate, duration, and frequency that works for you.
“We are like islands in the sea, separate on the surface but connected in the deep.” ~William James
I believe that people are inherently creative, resourceful, and whole, and I am driven to facilitate powerful conversations in order to enrich the lives of my clients. I value vulnerability, play, humor, inquiry, engagement, and authenticity and am curious about the stories we tell that invariably shape and define our lives - tales constructed from our origins, from the present moment, from the possibilities represented by a sky’s horizon. Getting curious helps neutralize the power of the stories that are harmful and outdated and makes way for new ones that better suit, ones that fulfill and dazzle, ones that bring us home to ourselves.
After spending a few years in corporate training and human resources, I taught English for twelve years at a public high school just north of Austin. I am a therapist at Firefly Therapy Austin, a Licensed Master Social Worker, and a Co-Active coach who has advanced degrees in poetry and social work.
What can we create together?
